Really happy with the Wildtop Nomad canopy on my BYD Shark. The frame and canvas cover are both very good quality, and I particularly like the load-bearing design, which gives it a lot more versatility.

It was fairly easy to put together, although I’d definitely recommend using a torque wrench to get everything tightened correctly.

One thing I found with the Shark is that the tub tapers in towards the rear. Because of this, I needed to use a ratchet strap and a brace at the front of the frame to pull the rear together enough to get the canopy sitting properly. Once I had it positioned, though, it fitted up well.

I absolutely love the look of it on the Shark. The main reason I fitted it was to give my German Shepherd a secure, practical space, and it’s working really well for that.

Another big plus for me is that it’s clamp-on, so there’s no need to drill or permanently modify the tub. It can also be removed relatively easily if needed.

My only real criticism is that I would have preferred the clamps to be black rather than silver – I think they would look much cleaner and suit the Shark better.

Overall, really happy with the Wildtop Nomad. Good quality, great-looking canopy, practical load-bearing frame and easy to remove when required. Very happy with the purchase.

Very good product for the price. Good quality parts and hardware. Good quality canvas. Excellent instructions. Got mine together by myself in about 3-4 hours working at a fairly steady pace. Quite an easy lit to assemble. Would definitely reccomend. Water proofing is quite good. Haven't had any water ingress thus far.

Very happy with overall look, use and quality of product. Instructions to install are very ordinary to say the least, and somewhere (either advert or instructions) it states 15-20 mins or similar to install. Perhaps it is? We are very practical and mechanically minded and it was easy 45 mins with the 2 of us for most of it. In saying that, we already had a tub liner in place so timing for us included having to remove the tailgate liner and reinstate. I knew purchasing the product that there may be water ingress around the sports bar, we’ve had some solid persistent rains since fitting the cover, and the water ingress has been very minimal. We have since just ran a small channel around the bar to divert any water out. Perhaps Tuff Tonneaus you could consider a small roll of EPDM rubber seal in the kit? As that was our only additional change. Otherwise yes, the kit included everything we needed and the tooling was perfect. Thank you.
